Transformation

Dr. Heather Dawn Clark

Dear Ones,

March is the month for transformation. In nature we see two different kinds of transformation. A tadpole doesn't look exactly like the frog he is going to become; but gradually the tail shrinks and the legs develop until the adult frog appears. The butterfly on the other hand doesn't look anything at all like the caterpillar she once was; her metamorphosis included an actual melt down, a transformation. So it is with us - our awakening, or transformation, may be gradual or it may seem be so complete that we can not recognize the person we used to be. Sometimes it does involve an emotional, physical or financial melt down. It is interesting how often we resist the difficult times on our path, yet it may be those times that are required for our spiritual growth.

Activating self-transformation is the beginning step toward global transformation. Each of us has something unique to contribute to our world. Together, we are transforming life on the planet. The spiritual growth we share collectively today, changes the future for generations to come.

How interesting life is. Many of us are journaling together in Spirit is Calling. Chris Michaels and Edward Viljoen jointly wrote the journal and gave each church who wanted it a list of suggested books for each month. The books suggested for March are both spectacular - Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert and Emergence by Barbara Marx Hubbard. Then last week, Oprah announced that she is doing a book club on Eckhart Tolle's newest book, A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose. Oprah's intention is to have the largest book club in history. I joined immediately.

In the forward to the book, Tolle writes, "This book is about you. It will change your state of consciousness or it will be meaningless. It can only awaken those who are ready. Not everyone is ready yet, but many are, and with each person who awakens, the momentum in the collective consciousness grows, and it becomes easier for others."

At the beginning of the year, I spoke about how inspiring it would be to focus on the same spiritual principle everyday with thousands of like-minded people. The 100th Monkey is here! Join Oprah's book club. Read one of these books. Let March be the month for our transformation individually and collectively.

God is so good!

Love,
Heather
