Dear Ones,
When I first discovered the Science of Mind, I was teaching Junior High School. One of the first things I said was how powerful it would be to teach these spiritual principles to our children. How many of us were blessed to grow up with this philosophy as an on-going part of our education? Instead, most of us learned millions of facts — many of which we will never use and may no longer remember.
But in all that time did we learn the meaning of life? Did we learn how to love ourselves? Did we learn the importance of self-forgiveness and forgiveness of others? Did we learn to value ourselves? Did we learn about the power of our thoughts and how we acquire beliefs? Did we learn the value of our mistakes? Did we learn to create lives of peace and contentment?
Did we learn our purpose in life? Did we learn our true identities? Did we learn how self-awareness can inspire us and how we can even use our "negative" feelings of shame, guilt and fear for learning, transformation and growth?
If not, it's not too late! Every Sunday this summer we are going to have the class you may have been waiting for: Summer School 2005: Everything We Wish We Had Learned in School — But Didn't.
We can view life as an opportunity to learn and grow. In fact, class is in session whenever you are bored, angry, tired, resentful, competitive, nervous or unhappy. Class is also in session whenever you are happy, content, prosperous, healthy, enlightened or tranquil.
This is your invitation to get involved by being willing to approach the same old problems in a new way, by being an outrageous thinker, and by getting involved in your own life.
Summer School 2005 is going to be fun! There will even be a special reward for perfect attendance!
See you in "class."
Love,
Heather
