In-Flight Youth Group

Teens meet on the 1st Sunday of the month at 10:30 a.m. and at 6 p.m. on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays.

Meetings include fun and self discovery in a nonjudgmental atmosphere through workshops based on the principles of Science of Mind.

In addition to regular meetings, In-Flight teens are involved in a number of other activities such as beach BBQs, "lock-ins," and holiday skits.

During the year, In-Flight teens hold fund-raisers to help offset the cost of seminars. A generous and wonderful congregation supports the teens in their endeavors.

Seasonal Seminars

Most important to the teens are seminars which occur two times during the year.

Winter Seminar

Winter Seminar, usually held over the long weekend in February, is a four day retreat where teens use Science of Mind teachings to explore and better understand their inner spirit while making friends with other Center for Spiritual Living teen groups in Southern California.

Summer Seminar

Summer Seminar, held in July or August, is an expanded version of Winter Seminar open to Center for Spiritual Living Church teen groups internationally, and offers the teens a full week of bonding, friendship, love, and workshops.

Our Intention

We declare our intention to make this a safe space where we may come together to experience and share — a supportive, respectful, and loving atmosphere in which we learn and grow in the principles of Science of Mind.

Youth group has been a primary focus in my life since I was 12 years old in Palm Desert. I have been on the RSI Youth Seminar Executive Committee since 1996. Youth group has been my passion for 20 years, and I have been privileged to be with In-Flight since January 2000. I have a 5-year old son and work as a Special Education teacher of communicatively handicapped students.
